One less car, one less truck
More Cargo Bikes
We started this project to bring new options for transportation to the US market and to help make our cities more sustainable, human-scaled, livable and cooler.
Cargo E-Bikes are Cool
Cargo E-Bikes are part of the solution to sustainable transportation that the world needs right now.
We came to this project from our deep passion for mobility, urbanism and sustinability. Our cities have become pollluted, noisy and dangerous and we just can't fit any more large vehicles on our roads. We realized that we need a shift in orientation from large cumbersome "light trucks" to "right-sized" vehicles that support connection to the Earth and to each other.
As we witnessed the emergence of the e-bike as a viable car replacement we knew we had found the mobility solution we were looking for. E-bikes are a lightweight, clean and nimble means of transportation that can handle 80-90% of the trips people make in the city. And a cargo e-bike can probably do it all: groceries, kids, work supplies, deliveries, ... all while consuming 100's of times fewer resources than even an electric car.
We found the XYZ CARGO project and knew we had to get involved. They offer bikes that are an affordable and accessible option that avoids high import duties by supporting local production so we worked with them to become and authorized producer in the USA.
